My coworker did not understand why it was necessary to stop and take photos.

Tesla should have stuck to rebadging Lotuses. It’s hard to believe that something so awesome looking could be related to something as characterless and soulless as the Model S.

I think it’s a cool car, and it certainly has amazing performance, but every time I see one, I’m always struck by how it’s exactly like every single other Model S. I’ve never encountered a car with such a soulless unformity, right down to their owners’ stupid custom plates with a reference to the car being electric.

i feel like the S was styled the way it was so that it didn’t scare anybody. its a nice looking car, it just doesn’t have that wow factor to go with the performance.

Here in SF they are soulless Prius upgrades where smug assholes drive them. They are like X5 drivers, think they can cut in at the last second to get ahead, pricks.

Meh. it’s basically a backwards hybrid camry with a few laptop batteries.

Who am I kidding. I have only seen one roadster and it was bright orange and absolutely gorgeous.

I have no issue with the tech, but the new front end is atrocious. I don’t care if it’s an electric car, it still could do with a grille of some sort.
